Spiritual Meaning of Lower Leg Pains

Please note, I am not a doctor; this is for entertainment purposes only and has been an accumulation of my own personal experiences through energy work, akashic work, massage therapy, and medical mediumship.

Have you ever wondered what could be spiritually or energetically going on with shin splints, leg cramps, chronic calf tension, and pain?

This has been a theme coming up lately, and I thought it was very timely after we had an amazing aurora show (here in Canada), where red northern lights were on full display.

I live in Northern Canada and have seen many colours of northern lights in my life, but never have I seen blood-red northern lights. It was another “once in a lifetime event” for us Millennials.

The Blood Red northern lights have many interpretations. It happened on Remembrance Day. Was it a nod to our grandparents who fought in the wars? Aboriginal folklore says that it is an omen of war about to come. New Age spiritualists say we are getting upgrades for our root chakras.

All could be true!

I do feel there is an element of truth to each one, but only time will tell for sure.

Afterwards, I had an influx of clients with lower leg issues, all wondering where the hell this came from, as it was quite sudden and with no discernible cause.

So what could be going on?

In terms of ancestral healing, some of us may be working through traumas of war that are still lingering in the lineage. This can be from fighting in the war, running away as a prisoner or being a slave. Needing to flee or walk long distances for freedom. War or military lineages really stand out here.

We may also be working through generational trauma from having to move with no support and needing to manage out-of-control situations. The one that comes to mind is the great depression. I also feel maybe it could be touching on marriages that were riddled with abuse or were forced from back in the day.

We may be called to shake this out of the lineage. We may be experiencing similar emotions that our ancestors felt during those times. We may not be in the same circumstances, but this suggests that parallels are happening that are stirring up similar emotions. It would be wise to explore how you have been feeling unsupported in your life or like you are managing an out-of-control situation.

Many of us may be feeling like slaves or prisoners to something. Many of us are facing inner or spiritual battles that we do not share or talk about. This is a very individual and reflective healing going on.

Some other topics to consider…

Leg issues often are trying to root out (pun intended) issues with inner peace, control, abundance, energy flow, balance between the body and the mind, self-worth, self-esteem, freedom, identity, and loving yourself.

In the real world, we can be driven by consumerism, materialism, unmet needs, denial, and needing to be right.

This is associated with the Root Chakra.

Blocks to abundance are the big ones. Abundance is subjective, but the phrases I hear pouring out of these blocks are…

My belongings make me feel safe.

People like me for my things.

I must always have more.

The more I have, the more important I am.

There is never enough.

The more things I have, the better my life will be.

When our legs are bothering us, we are struggling with some forms of inner peace. We may also be lacking substance in our lives.

We may also be struggling to let go; we know we need to, but certain challenges are making it difficult.

We are usually also not properly channelling energies. Our legs are our connection to Earth, and if we are not channelling them properly, if will physically manifest in our legs with problems.

We may also be in a period where we do not know our inner purpose or our inner motivations.

Our values might be up in the air, making it hard to have some direction and footing.

If we have no footing, we cannot ground into our path.

We will also know we need to move forward in something, but our mind and the mental body will be running amok in our energy systems.

Mental chaos is also a cause.

We may also be carrying HEAVY burdens in our waking life. Over time, you will start to feel it in your body.

This is where asking for help is necessary.

When mental and energetic burdens are too heavy, we will eventually start to feel them in our legs.

Swollen feet can indicate that we are taking too much on, as well as we are not properly letting go as needed.

We may also have a very negative view of ourselves and our lives.

Some teachings and lessons that come from lower leg issues are as follows…

Be in the flow, go with the flow and stop resisting.

Control our energy systems.

Control our mental chaos.

Forgiveness.

Be flexible without losing your identity.

Learning to be comfortable and loving your body.

Needing balanced energy systems.

Work on a bedtime routine.

Move forward without needing to project into the future.

Live without feeling like life is a burden.

Live by asking for help, not manipulating to get the help you need.

Recognize your value.

Recognize the purpose of your life in this moment.

Be responsible for your actions.

Be responsible for your choices.

Work on inner peace.

A connection to “God” or nature.

Some created patterns that show through are…

Being seen is dangerous.

The Universe/God/Creator does not listen to my prayers, and my wishes never get answered.

I allow others to take my energy.

I am out of sync.

I can’t move forward in life.

I do not know how to do things differently.

I carry a heavy burden.

I can’t forgive.

I don’t like myself.

I do not like my life.

I can’t get the things done that I want to get done because of xyz…

I am lost.

I am trapped.

I am trapped in my inability to move forward in life.

I must put out lots of effort to be good enough.

I want out of my life.

I have no purpose.

The Meng Mein will also be working overtime due to contamination, fight or flight.

This will make it hard to flush out contaminated energies and activate the upper chakras, which will contribute to the mental chaos.

This will affect the kidneys, gallbladder, blood pressure, and urinary system.

You will also ALWAYS have no energy.

The Meng Mein is also known as the gate of life. It helps circulate the energy flow upwards. It's like a pumping station from the Root Chakra. It is located between the kidneys in the lower back. It can also affect the kidneys, adrenal glands, and the urinary tract.

It can also transmute lower energies and contamination through our energy systems, so it is famous for getting plugged up and clogged up.

Forgiveness and learning our lessons are also big energies associated with the Meng Mein.

Overall…

My biggest recommendation is to get that energy moving and out. We may need to do some forgiveness work, not only for others but for ourselves, with past mistakes.

We may also need to do some deep work regarding purpose and loving our lives again. We may be uprooted from timelines, and this can also cause our legs to feel unwell. We need to pick and plant ourselves in our ideal reality. This only happens when we take action.

Self-massaging the legs and feet is a great way to show yourself some love and attention while moving out that contaminated energy. A warm compress on the lower back is also helpful while visualizing healing light seeping into the Meng Mein.

Slow yoga that targets the lower body is very powerful, as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle and some sort of connection to nature.

We cannot release contamination when we are not connected or grounded. The easiest hack for that is nature or places where we feel connected, calm, or in a meditative zone.
